2024 Yearbooks: For all students that have pre-ordered last year’s yearbook (2024), they have arrived! Feel free to drop by the office to get your book between 8am-4pm. Current students can drop by during breaks or lunch.

2025 Yearbooks: Reminder that the current sale for the 2025 yearbook ends this Friday! Pre-order your yearbook for $55! Next week, the book price moves to $60.

Raiders listen up! Are you ready for an exciting winter dance? Look forward to the upcoming “under the stars” dance on December 12th hosted by CRHS. And, guess what?? you can now purchase tickets for your date or friends from other high schools on the island to share this memorable night!

We cannot wait to see you all dancing the night away, and seniors make sure not to miss out on your last high school winter dance, let’s all make this night amazing!

Tickets will be going on sale in the student store in the main lobby the upcoming Monday, Dec 2 for just $5, until price goes up to $10 the following week. Don't miss your chance to get them at the discounted price before it increases for last minute purchases!

Cash will be the accepted payment method so make sure to have some cash handy next week to purchase tickets!

The next winter dance committee meeting will be the upcoming Monday, the 2nd in Ms Woodworth’s classroom 103 during lunch. This is your chance to get involved for community service hours and help us plan and make this event stand out!!

Basketball Score Keepers: There will be a meeting for all potential basketball score keepers today at lunch time in the gym. This will be an opportunity to get training and scheduled for games this season.

There will be no intramurals in the gym this today.

Men’s and women’s “A” Basketball players are asked to pick up their permission forms at 11:30 today in the Phys Ed office. These forms need to be signed and returned before your first game.

Women’s AA Basketball players are asked to meet Ms. MacIsaac in the Wellness Room at lunch to collect their uniforms.

Good luck to the Men’s AAA Basketball team in the Gray Cup Basketball tournament this weekend!

Due to popular demand, a new clothing order has opened! Our Rural or Grad Shirts are back on sale, as well as hoodies and crewnecks for a limited time only!! Check out the link on the Instagram, or on the school website for information and to order! All orders are due by Friday, November 29th by NOON. Orders will be in before Christmas!

Students please note that there is no printing in the library. Students can print in Lab 341 from 8:30 - 8:50 and 11:40-12:20 daily.

Pie the Teacher: on December 5th in the cafeteria at lunch, Students and Staff will have the opportunity to pie some teachers, Mr.Wynne (VP) and Ms.Minnis the principal for $20 per pie.

Rural Law Club: A new club has formed at Rural. Students interested in the law and the trial process are encouraged to come join the new Rural Law Club. Our first meeting will be next Wednesday, December 4th beginning at 11:35 a.m. in room 227. All students are welcome. If you have any questions, drop by and see Mr. Avery in room 227.

Crochet Club: meets every Wednesday in room 333. Bring your lunch – all materials provided. Beginners and experts are all welcome!

Chess Club: will be held on Wednesday at lunch in room 306 with Mr. LeClair and Ms. Arnold. Any level of chess player is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a grand master! Chess boards are provided, all are welcome!

CRHS Tutor Program: Want to earn extra cash as a tutor or need a tutor for extra help?  Apply to the CRHS Tutor Program in Student Services. We will match tutors and students looking for help. Tutors earn $20 per hour Please note that tutors must be in grade 11 or 12. Subjects available for tutoring are dependent on the tutors available.

Upcoming University/College Open House & School Visits:

Holland College: will be here on Wednesday, December 4th to meet with students one on one. They will answer any questions that you might have, help with admissions, scholarships etc. Students who would like to attend, must come to Student Services to reserve a time.

Transcripts: All grade 12 students should have received a copy of their updated transcript last week. Students are asked to check their school email and save a copy of it to use for the rest of the semester. A reminder that a lot of schools require that students upload their own transcript. This includes UPEI, Holland College, Dalhousie, Mount Allison as well as Ontario schools. It is up to you to save a copy for future use. The link to transcripts will expire in 21 days.
