We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki (MEEG-MA-GEE), the traditional and ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This entire week is dedicated to honoring that recognition.

Friday, 27th: We’ll wrap up the week with Orange Shirt Day to honor and remember Indigenous children who attended residential schools.

School Sports: There will be a quick meeting today at 11:35 for Cross Country runners in the lecture theater. Please attend and make sure your name is on the list to participate this year. Runners of all abilities are welcome.

All student athletes are reminded to return their permission forms to the Phys Ed office and pay their athletic fees to the main office before their next game.

Charlottetown Rural’s baseball team defeated Colonel Gray Tuesday evening by a score of 13-2. Rural Pitcher Evan Maybe led the team by striking out 22 Gray hitters.  Rural takes on Bluefield tonight at Lower MacNeill field in Stratford.

SHAD: There will be a recruiter from SHAD presenting in room 104 today at lunch. If you are a grade 10 or 11 student looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity during the summer to learn how to shape our world’s future, please consider attending. The session begins at 11:40. Bring your lunch.

Interested in learning about FNJA and the advantages of bilingualism? The national French ambassador, Anisa Zangiabadi, is holding a presentation on October first at 11:45 in room 241. Make sure to attend and bring your friends. A bientôt!

Anyone interested in gaining some service hours for the community bursary towards your post secondary studies? Come join the tutoring program, a meeting will be held on Friday at lunch in room 330 with details and more information! Make sure to attend if you are interested, we hope to see you there!

Envirothon Club: There will be a meeting for Envirothon members and anyone else interested in joining in room 306 at lunch on Friday the 27th.

Chess club will be held every Wednesday at lunch in room 306 with Mr. LeClair. Any level of chess player is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a grand master! Chess boards are provided, all are welcome!

CRHS Tutor Program-Want to earn extra cash as a tutor OR Need a tutor for extra help?  Apply to the CRHS Tutor Program in Student Services!  We will match tutors and students looking for help. Tutors earn $15/hour  Please note that tutors must be in grade 11 or 12. Subjects available for tutoring are dependent on the tutors available.

Grade 12 Info-

Grade 12 students were sent a digital copy of their transcript last Thursday. Students need to save this PDF for use until mid term marks are available. This can be used for applying to university and colleges as well as some scholarships that require an unofficial transcript. This link is only valid for 21 days so please save it asap.
