Pride Week: We are celebrating Pride Week at Charlottetown Rural this week. There is a progress flag displayed in our front entryway and various posters will be added around our building throughout the week to celebrate pride and diversity. Wear your colors or get one of the pins available today at break in the student store. Lots more to come later in the week!
Google Classrooms: Students are asked to NOT sign out from their google classrooms until June 25th.
The UPEI Faculty of Engineering has a few paid summer research opportunities. ProGRES is a program for girls and non-binary students going into grade 11 or 12. FIRES is a program for indigenous youth going into grade 11 and 12. For more information, see Mr. Toms at lunch in room 302. The application deadline is Wednesday, June 5.
Athletic Banquet: last call for anyone who plans to attend the banquet on Friday. There are only a few tickets left. You can pick one up in the PE office.
Student Parking: Parks and Recreation Department has let us know that during school hours garbage is being left behind in the parking lot and parking areas along Raiders Rd at the Central Ballfield where students are parking.
Blue garbage cans are provided in the lot. Students are to either take their garbage with them or use those cans.
Please note that if this continues to happen, the city may be forced to close the parking lot and restrict the parking around the field off Raiders Rd.

Peer Helping: Reminder to those who registered for Peer helping for the coming year that application forms must be submitted to Miss Kaulbach in the Flag room (back of the library) and you need to arrange a time for an interview.
Library News: There will be no more borrowing of books from the library for this school year. Please have all borrowed books from the library returned by next Friday June 7th.

Important information for graduates:
-Final Transcript Requests: all Graduates who are planning to attend university or college this fall need to request their final transcript. This includes if you are planning to attend UPEI or Holland College. If a form is not filled out, your transcript will not be sent. The deadline to request your transcript is June 7th.
-Confirmed scholarships, bursaries or other awards: if you have received a scholarship, bursary or other award, please fill out a google form (in the google classroom). These will be announced during the graduation ceremony. Deadline to submit this is June 7th.
Prom Tickets: if you purchased a ticket and have not picked it up yet, you can get it today in the main office during lunch.
Graduate Lawn Signs: Anyone wishing to purchase a lawn sign of their graduate, email Gemini at the following address with the photo of their grad. Gemini will email them back with a proof they will need to approve:
