Construction on Main Entrance: Work began on the Main Entrance of our school yesterday. The blue material on the section above the exterior stairs is going to be removed and replaced with steel siding. Our new school sign will be in place by the end of the week. With this construction going on for the entire week, the Main Entrance will remain closed to everyone coming in and out of the school. People will be directed to the gym/staff entrance as well as the student/bus entrance (wheelchair accessible). We apologize for any inconvenience.
We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki (MEEG-MA-GEE), the traditional and ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This entire week is dedicated to honoring that recognition.

Tuesday, 24th: We’ll be collecting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation today and tomorrow after lunch, so please remember to bring your toonies (or more) to support this important cause!
Wednesday, 25th: Raider Day, featuring the Terry Fox Run—show your school spirit by wearing your Raider colors!
Friday, 27th: We’ll wrap up the week with Orange Shirt Day to honor and remember Indigenous children who attended residential schools.

Anyone interested in gaining some service hours for the community bursary towards your post secondary studies? Come join the tutoring program, a meeting will be held on Friday at lunch in room 330 with details and more information! Make sure to attend if you are interested, we hope to see you there!
School Sports:
Cross Country practice: today at 3:30. Runners of all abilities are welcome. If you can’t make practices, but still want to participate, please see Mr. Chaisson or Mrs. Kenny to get signed up.
School Golf: All golfers participating in today’s qualifier at Fox Meadow are asked to check the Rural Golf Google classroom to see their tee-off time. Please be on time and bring your $40 green fee for your round. In order to qualify for Provincials, you need to attend a qualifier. Please communicate with Mr. Bustard if you have questions or concerns.

Reminder to all student athletes to return your permission forms to the Phys Ed office, and your athletic fees to the main office, before your next game.
Chess club will be held every Wednesday at lunch in room 306 with Mr. LeClair. Any level of chess player is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a grand master! Chess boards are provided, all are welcome!

Tutors earn $15/hour Please note that tutors must be in grade 11 or 12. Subjects available for tutoring are dependent on the tutors available.
