Hey Raiders! We’re looking for student volunteers to be Team Hosts during the Confederation City Classic Tournament happening right here at Charlottetown Rural from Thursday, January 8th to Saturday, January 10th. Team Hosts report to an assigned team and you’re there to answer questions and help in any way you can. This is your chance to give back to our school and be part of an exciting event! These hours count toward volunteer requirements for classes that need them! Interested? Let Mr. Killorn know if you are interested.

Are you a Rural Raiders Super Fan? We’re selling Raiders Super Fan t-shirts for $15 each, as a fundraiser to support our Basketball teams. T-shirts are $15 and available in red and white.
How do you order one, you may ask? Simply check the Rural Instagram for the order form, or scan the QR code that is posted throughout the school. Or ask any of the basketball players here at Rural, and they can share the link with you. The order deadline is Dec 22nd. Shirts will arrive just in time for the Confederation City Classic Basketball Tournament in the New Year! Spread the word, spread the school spirit and become a Raiders Super Fan! Let’s Go Raiders!
There will be a Christmas crochet sale this Thursday in the lobby. Prices will start at $3 per item. A portion of the sales will be donated to the Rudolph Campaign.
Anita Bradley’s School of Driving (a partner of Laurentian Driving School): begins after school on Tuesday, January 6th in room 330. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and you can register at @anitabdriving.ca OR text Anita at 902-394-0634 OR register in class on January 6th. Cost is $720.

Volunteer Opportunity: Charlottetown Ringette Tournament from January 8 – 11, 2026
Volunteer Opportunities: game sheet, game clock; providing music (playlist will be provided), bottle cap game; etc. This will give students the opportunity to earn some volunteer hours, all the while, helping out the Charlottetown and Area Ringette Association.
