Crochet Club will take place every Wednesday at lunch in room 333. No experience necessary, materials provided.
Chess Club: It will be held in room 105 on Wednesdays at lunch. Chess boards are provided, and all skill levels are welcome! See Mr. LeClair if you have any questions.

Congratulations to all our soccer teams who played in semifinals on Monday evening. The Men’s AAA, Men’s AA, Women’s AAA and Women’s A teams have all made the final this Saturday. Our Men’s A team lost in the semi finals in a heartbreaking penalty shootout, and will play for bronze today at 4:00 at Summerside Turf Field. Good luck today men, and good luck to all our teams going for provincial banners on Saturday. Let’s go Raiders!

Charlottetown Rural Haunted Halloween trail: will take place tomorrow(Wednesday) from 6:30-8. Entry is a Toonie or food donation. Refreshments will be available (Cash Only)
Our School Remembrance Day ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 4th. Any cadets who are interested in helping with and participating in the Remembrance Day ceremony should see Mr. Killorn in the Main Office on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
Halloween 4 Hunger: This is our last week for Halloween for hunger! So far, 1st place is Mr. Stewart with 1285 pts, 2nd place is Mrs. Stacy with 855 and 3rd place is Mr. McKenna with 435.
Raiders, this is our last shot to donate to help those in need in our community! Please donate now to the box in your homerooms THIS WEEK! If anyone is interested in helping out on Halloween Night by volunteering to go door to door to collect non-perishable food items, there will be a meeting on Tuesday the 28th at Lunch in room 331! CRHS Tutor Program Want to earn extra cash as a tutor or need a tutor for extra help? Apply to the CRHS Tutor Program in Student Services. We will match tutors and students looking for help. Tutors earn $20/hour. Please note that tutors must be in grade 11 or 12. Subjects available for tutoring are dependent on the tutors available.

In February and March 2026, Ottawa will host 300 students aged 15 to 18 over three weeks for an immersive, hands-on experience like no other. You’ll learn about how decisions are made in Canada, meet Senators, Members of Parliament, and other influential leaders, and gain the tools you need to make a real difference in your community. Strive Scholarship Program: Students who are interested in the Strive Scholarship Program are remined to pick up the application form in Student Services. If you were unable to attend the meeting but are still interested, it’s not too late.
Western University's National Scholarship Program: Charlottetown Rural can nominate four students to Western University's National Scholarship Program.
These scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought, a passion for the pursuit of learning and a commitment to community service through ongoing contributions to school and community life.
If you wish to be considered for this, please submit a one-page response why you would be a suitable candidate to student services. Deadline to submit is Nov 4.
UNB: will be in the lobby on Thursday, Oct 30th during lunch. They will be doing on the spot admissions and waiving the application fee.
