AFTER SCHOOL MAKE UP ASSESSMENTS:  This is for missed assessments due to illness or other excused absences. Students are to come prepared with their own pencils/pens and calculators when needed. Teachers, please have clearly labeled tests in a labeled folder to the main office before 3pm.

Wits and Words Slam Poetry Contest: Any students interested in taking part in the Wits and Words Slam Poetry Contest which will take place on Thursday, April 25th at Receiver Coffee on Victoria Row, please see Ms. Becker in room 325.

Musical News: There is a sets meeting after school today at 3:15 in the cafeteria. We are putting in a big effort before the March break, and any students interested in helping with sets are invited to join.  Thank you for your help with making the musical happen!

Student Parking: Students, a reminder that you are not to park on school grounds if you do not have an assigned 2023-2024 parking pass. Free bussing is provided by the PSB.

The road behind the school, leading to the PSB transportation lot, that lot & front staff & visitor parking is NOT available to students!

The City has allowed parking up by the ball field again for the time being.  THIS DOES NOT MEAN ALONG THE ROADWAY WHERE THERE ARE NO PARKING SIGNS. ALSO NOTE,  park facing the right direction.  Follow the rules of the road,  be respectful.  Consider carpooling, PSB or T-3 busses!

Safe Drivers PEI: The next driver education course will be during March Break (25-28) at Holland College. Another course will start at the rural on April 8th afterschool in room #347. Anita Bradley’s School of Driving: new course starts April 2nd. It will run every Tuesday and Wednesday in room 221 after school. Lowest price available at 690 including taxes. Register at neatsib@gmail.com or 902-394-0634 or anitabdriving.ca   Students can also register the first day of class.

Important information has been posted in the Grade 12 Google Classroom. Spring is a very busy time for scholarships. New scholarships will be added all the time so be sure to keep checking. There are also many other opportunities that won’t be posted in the classroom. Be sure to look for them. If you are a grade 12 student and are not in it, be sure to join it asap.
