Bilingual Debate Club at lunch in room 239

UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is looking for applicants for two five week summer programs that will run July 4-Aug 5.  The programs are  ProGRES:  Promoting Girls in Research in Engineering and Sustainability and  FIRES:  Fostering Indigenous Representation in Engineering and Sustainability.  

Both programs involve an independent research project where students are paired with a faculty researcher, graduate student or undergraduate student as their mentor.  Previous projects include studying 3D printed tissue scaffolds, building a propeller, designing a watering system for a rooftop garden, and making electric plugs for people with mobility issues.  A stipend of $2400 will be awarded to each participant upon successful completion of their project and presentation.  Deadline to apply is June 3.

Final June Transcripts! The deadline to request your final transcript is June 3rd. Please fill out the form with all necessary information so that final official transcripts can be sent in June.

Confirmed scholarships/Bursaries/Prizes- have you received a scholarship or other prize for graduation? If you have, please fill out a Google Form on the Grad Classroom and let us know about it. These will be announced during the graduation ceremony. The deadline for this is June 3rd.

Saint Mary’s University: will be here on May 18th at 10:30 to meet with students who plan to attend SMU in the Fall. If you have applied and plan to attend SMU, please leave your name in Student Services. The location of this is TBD.

SMU will also be set up in the lobby during lunch for anyone who would like information on the university, programs they offer, the application process etc.
